Waitlists are on by default for every class with a capacity limit. There’s nothing to enable.
How waitlists work
When a class fills up, clients can join its waitlist instead of walking away. The moment someone cancels, Zenly offers the spot to the first person in line automatically, with no action from you or your staff.
Joining a waitlist
When a class is full, the Book button in the client portal becomes Join waitlist. Clients see they’re in line, and you see the full queue, in order, on the class page.

When a spot opens
The first person in line is booked into the class right away. Their session pack or membership is only charged at that moment, never while they’re just waiting. And if their coverage lapsed while they waited, say the pack ran out, they keep their place in line while the seat is offered to the next person who can take it.
1
A booked client cancels their spot.
2
Zenly books the first person on the waitlist and moves everyone else up one place.
3
The seat is theirs like any other booking, and they can still cancel it if they can no longer make it.
