Create a recurring class

3 min read·Updated July 2026

Set a class up once and it shows up every week on its own. You describe the rhythm, Zenly keeps the calendar filled in.

Set up the schedule

1
Pick the service the class teaches, or create one with its duration and price.
2
Choose the days, time, capacity, room and instructor.
3
Save. Every future date appears on your calendar and in the client portal, ready to book.
Morning HIIT
MON · WED · FRI · 7:00
Mon 27 Jul · 7:0012/14 booked
Wed 29 Jul · 7:009/14 booked
Give the class a capacity and it gets a waitlist automatically; there’s nothing extra to switch on.

Change a single day

Holiday coming up, or the instructor is out? Open that day on the calendar and move it, cancel it or hand it to another instructor, changing just that occurrence. The rest of the series doesn’t change, and anyone already booked on a cancelled day gets their credit back. Cancelled the wrong day? Restore it; the day returns to the calendar with an empty roster, ready to book again.

Book a client into every week

Some regulars want the same bike every Monday. Staff can book a client into a recurring slot up to an end date you pick, in one go.

Good to know
If some dates can’t be booked, say the class is full or the client already has that slot, Zenly books the rest and shows you exactly which dates were skipped. Nothing is booked silently. See How waitlists work for what happens to full days.
