Attendance and check-in
Attendance in Zenly is a record, not a charge. The credit was used when the seat was booked, so marking who came and who didn’t never moves money; it just tells you the truth about your classes.
Two ways to run the door
In automatic mode, the default, a class that has passed settles on its own: everyone booked counts as attended unless you say otherwise. Nothing to do at the door.
In tracked mode, presence is confirmed at the door or from the client’s phone, and bookings nobody confirmed become no-shows. Choose this when you want real attendance numbers you can act on. When almost everyone showed up, one action checks in every still-booked client on the session, so tracking a full class is a tap, not a roll call.
Client self check-in
When you track attendance, clients can check themselves in from the member portal as they arrive. You see it live on the class page, so the front desk stops being a bottleneck on busy mornings.
Fixing mistakes
In either mode, staff always have the last word: mark someone present, mark a no-show or undo either, at any time. The automatic settling only decides what happens to bookings nobody touched.
